Being on here and reading thru the different forums while waiting for a response for my original question.... I noticed one user stated that he was using comodo pro firewall ....
I run vista - thru a router - and do alot of gaming on my xbox 360 ..... as many people know that online gaming sometimes comes with cyber bullying :flowers: ....and many times I found myself victim to ddos attacks......my router has a built in firewall but it never seems to stop the UPD floods..........And have found myself held offline for hours at a time  . Would setting up a firewall protect against this - or what would u suggest?

Hello I would use a Software firewall (eg Windows. Comodo, Zonealarm). This software then filters all incoming, and sometimes outgoing traffic (Comodo, Zonealarm), and only allows only data that has been requested or explicitly allowed to pass through. The Router is a good Hardware firewall.
