Hey guys, i recently done a system recovery on my laptop to set it back to the factory settings, when i turned it on after the recovery process it says i needed to insert a windows os disk, i only had an old xp disk so i installed that, everything works good i was just wondering if i cud ever get my laptop back to vista and factory settings with out buyin a copy of vista, i dont have any recovery dvds because it would never let me burn them, would it be possible to download and burn the recovery files for my laptop?
Any help would be much appreciated, sorry if i posted this in the wrong place

If you contact the manufacturer, they should be able to send you a new disc if you explain to them your situation. I did with dell one time, and they happily sent me a windows xp disc.
