NOD 32 found a win32/Mebroot trojan on my pc but it could not fix it. I ran the Autoruns program and I found secdrv.sys that was flagged on your Startup Database as a malware file. It also said to post a Hijack This thread.

I am only able to stay logged onto the internet for brief periods, possibly due to the malware (I have Verizon FIOS).

I saw another post that discussed the Mebroot trojan, so I used the NOD32 link that was in that thread to get rid of the virus. It seems to have worked, as I have a clean scan from NOD32 and I'm not getting booted off of the internet at all.

Thank you for all of your work to provide this site, as I found the answer to my problem and I have a better understanding of what I can do to lessen the chances of downloading more malware. I also like your tips and your links to other helpful sites.
