I have a Packard Bell computer whixh, because of a virus, I have had to return to the factory settings and reload all my software.

Howerver, since doing that I have no sound whatsoever (not even a bleep on strart up) , system or speakers. As far as I can see all setting are unmuted.

On the advice of PC Wold Tec Guys, I have deleted and reinstalled the sound card with noe effect.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be, or how I can trace it.

Thanks for your help
