hi i have a saved file folder that i save to any download before installing, i scan the file with spybot , avg8 and malwarebytes, now avg8 has given me a load of hassle these pasted weeks with antivirus/antispyware data bases going awol add to that the update manager and email scanner acting the goat so i pulled the plug and uninstalled avg8 completely and installed avast4 which seems to be doing the job ok, it scans my save file along with malwarebytes but spybot s&d is no longer an opition, all other aspects of spybot are working fine, as any one any idea has to why spybot should just drop off the scan, its no big deal but it was three scans on downloads upping the safety aspect rather than two, cheers finbar
