Hi

I need some help.

I've bought a new computer and installed Win XP SP2.
Lately, internet browsing had become really annoying because very often web pages open very slowly (or do not open at all unless i log off and log on again), and generally speaking my internet starts running very slow.
I use CleanUp and Ccleaner utilities to clean the temp files, Adware and Spybot against spyware and Zonealarm and Nod32 against viruses.
All these programs i use on a regular basis, and each time it shows i'm clean.
But still i would like somebody to analyze my HJT log and tell me what to do in order to improve my internet speed.

P.S: I would really like somebody to tell me what can i do in order to keep my computer virus/spyware free (other than running antivirus/antispyware programs regularly, which i already do).
Are there any downloadable programs which instently and efficiently detect viruses/malware and eliminate them for good?

Here is My HJT log:

Hello janbas and welcome to the BC forums. Your log shows no signs of viruses or malware at this time. It is clean.

There is 1 entry with a file missing that should be fixed so let's do that now.

Start HijackThis and click the Scan button to perform a scan. Look for the following items and click in the checkbox in front of each item to select it:O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file)
Now close ALL open windows except HijackThis and click the Fix Checked button to finish the repair.

Ok. Reboot your computer normally.

Other than that everything looks good. I see Kazaa as your start page. If you have Kazaa installed then that is probably the root cause of any slowdowns. I suggest you post your question in the XP forum and see what they have to say. They are pretty good at OS issues and if anybody has any suggestions they do.

Cheers.
