Are you starting from the Safe Mode screen where it says "Safe Mode with Command Prompt"?
If so, then you'll most likely have to run Startup Repair with your Vista installation DVD. Here's a link on how to do it: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/repair-windows-with-windows-startup-repair/

If you don't have a disk, here's a link with some info on how to make one: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/blogs/usas...?showentry=1261
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
