Ever since I attempted to install Avast! antivirus, my computer freezes at startup sometimes.
It is getting really annoying and I want to know what I could possibly do to make it stop.
According to Windows Defender and Malwarebytes, I don't have any trojans or whatever.
What can I download to make this go away?

Any error messages that coincide with the problem? Have you looked in the Event Viewer to see if there is anything listed at the time of the problem?
Try removing it and downloading it again
There's no other A-V program installed, correct?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits

Nope. No other antivirus.
Just MalwareBytes.
