I think the above website is malware. Everytime I start my computer, that website opens on my desktop, in a very small window in the upper left corner of my desktop. It is easy to close but it is not supposed to be showing up everytime I start my computer. Once I close out the website, I don't notice any other problems with my computer. Please review the logs and let me know what to do from here.
Thanks!

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

Hi

It seems that you've run ComboFix by yourself (not recommended!). Please post contents of ComboFix.txt back here.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I ran Combofix about one month ago. The only thing you see in my last post is what you guys wanted me to do in your last message. If you want me to run Combofix again, please instruct me as to how to do it. I don't have it installed on my computer anymore.

Hi

Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running ComboFix tool:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

Please continue as follows:
  • Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix, link
    Remember to re-enable them afterwards.

  • Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.
When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.

Please include the following reports for further review, and so we may continue cleansing the system:

C:\ComboFix.txt
New dds.txt log.

A word of warning: Neither I nor sUBs are responsible for any damage you may have caused your machine by running ComboFix. This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.
