Ok, uninstalled Kaspersky yesterday and went back to Avast.

This morning booted up computer, everything went ok, connected to MSN, Messenger and email but whenever i try and access a site from Firefox or IE, i cannot.
In Firefox i get "Connection to server was reset..." message and IE just tells me it cannot display the page.

I am typing this from my laptop which is connected wirelessly to the same router as the PC, so i am guessing its not a router problem!

Have tried disabling/enabling local area connection with no effect.

Help!!

Ok, sorted it.

Appears it was Avast!'s Web Shield function....soon as i terminated that i could connect again.
