Hello all,

A question regarding my virus scan. I decided to give Avira a try, and during the course of my first scan a couple of warnings came up... I have attached them below, does anybody know what they mean, and what can I do to fix it?

tarting master boot sector scan:
Master boot sector HD0
[INFO] No virus was found!
Master boot sector HD1
[INFO] No virus was found!
[WARNING] System error [21]: The device is not ready.

Begin scan in 'C:\'
C:\pagefile.sys
[WARNING] The file could not be opened!

Couldn't find anything pointing to Kaspersky
System error 21 can possibly a damaged or failing hard drive. You might want to run chkdsk to be sure

Hello.

During the first part, Avira was looking at the boot sectors of each drive. The third drive, which I assume is the CD drive, didn't have a disk in it, thus "The device is not ready".

The second error was from Avira going over the pagefile. It cannot be read as it is in use.

Both errors are normal.

With Regards,
The Panda
