Hey guys, I have an alienware and an aquos tv. I want to hook my laptop to my tv so that I can watch videos and play games on my tv. Since alienware m9750 does not have an hdmi slot, I need a dvi to hdmi cable. So does anyone know any good dvi/hdmi cables that I can use?

Secondly, do I need an audio cord as well? Since I am going to use my tvs stereo (no speakers for alienware)

Lastly, If I use my tv, will I be able to use my alienware keyboard without having the monitor to be turned on?

Thank you!

yes you can get the adaptors here http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....D+HDMI+adaptors you can find cables there as well. or you can even pick them up at wal-mart or many computer stores.

the sound should transfer through the HDMI cable to your HDMI enabled tv in theory.

as far as using the keyboard goes yes you will be able to use it, once you plug the TV in it will basically turn the TV into your monitor, and you will be able to do everything using the TV as a monitor that you did before you plugged the tv in, except on a larger screen.

Only if the video card supports it.
