hi i have just bought a Epson C1100 color printer .
the problem is that the drivers will not allow me to print on paper any longer than 290mm ..
does anyone know of a driver or patch/hack that will allow me to print up to 520mm ?????

any help would be appreciated

The first thing I would do is to check the Epson website and see if there are newer drivers to install, and then see if there is a FAQ or support page that might have a solution to your problem.
If this does not help, post back.

See if your current printer setup has a paper select tab, and if it has either a user select for paper or a 'banner' mode that is intended for a continuous strip. If neither of those are available, you're stiffed by Epson which also programs their ink cartridges to die at empty rather than tolerate reloads.
'Open the @^!&&!#& hatch, Hal!'

'I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that...'
