I am currently in contact with a Kaspersky moderator who has analysed my desktop windows XP and reccomended combofix. When I attempt to run combofix I recieve a notification that I should disable Norton AntiVirus or damage could result during the scan. I understand this and have disabled Kaspersky AntiVirus in this process. I am stumped because I removed Norton before installng Kaspersky. It's not on the desktop, or in control panel, or any taskbar.
My question is; How do I determine where the Norton program is, and how do I disable it? Thanks in advance!

Follow the directions given by richbuff, I have found the Kasp forum to be very good, it's really a faux paus to seek help in more than one forum as it wastes resources.

No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.
