since my father's computer is to old and the internet explorer will not let me on websites....i decided to reserect my lap top i kicked off of my bed by accident while sleeping a long time ago. it crashed on a base of my ameba lamp. my lap top is on lifesupport. the power dangles and depends on my belt. yes a regular belt you put on pants. i have to tie it on there so that the lap top stays on the charger since the lap top was bought used and something with it wouldn't work and charge the battery...so it constantly has to be plugged in. it (only somtimes) gets hot? i'm not sure but it suddenly turns off. i don't know if it's over heating or what. the fan does turn on though. sometimes the belt isn't tight enough and the computer does not make contact well enough to the charger so...it dies. after so many times of that happening, my computer went into safe mode. i use to be able to fix this by 2 ways. change the color settings on the properties....or hit F8 (i think that's what it is) or whichever one it was while it was starting up and it would give me the option to start it up normal mode or safe mode. i've done all of that and it would work but i guess my lap top is getting fried from it shutting off so many times that now it wont let me get off of safe mode, and it continues to give me safe mode. i am actually ON SAFE MODE NOW!
is there another way to maybe fix this? ( by that i mean the safe mode issue...the physical conditions of my lap top is beyond repair) someone mentioned that maybe it over heated and shut off so many times that it was frying and corrupting my start up system.
