The free SiteAdvisor browser add-in claims to protect you by labeling Web sites green, yellow, or red to indicate that they are safe, questionable, or dangerous.

But a good or bad SiteAdvisor rating can persist for as long as a year after the site's content has changed, raising serious questions about the service's usefulness...

1. Search "noadware.net" on SiteAdvisor.
2. Download WOT.

I now use WOT since SiteAdvisor is annoying (keeps on flashing) and their ratings are more accurate.

I tried linkscanner lite free version and it flagged every site green.I even tried to find a bad site with it and could not.I eventualy uninstalled it.I now use Finjan as a real time scanner and WOT as a site advisor and if either say red I do not go there. Also with WOT if you click on the circle, widget, doghnut whatever it takes you to the score card and you can see what people said about the site.Incidently Bleeping Computers has a excellent rating.WOT more can be said.

I actually have WOT and SiteAdvisor. I have been meaning to uninstall siteadvisor, but I never did.

Thank you for giving me a final reason to dump SiteAdvisor.
Don't mind me, I'm just lurking.
