As directed, I've popped in to say HELLO. My name is Bonny,I'm from the United Kingdom and totally green as far as computers go. I love them dearly (when they work) but get very frustrated when they go belly up. I hope to stick aroud and learn lots of new stuff and pehaps I could then go back to my tutor and finally say "I've joined Bleeping Computer"..................... He's forever talking about this forum. Ta ta for now.

Hello, thank you for the welcome, I see you're also a Brit (something I am denying at the moment because of the cricket) I will most certainly look at the tutrials, thank you for the link.

Hello John, thank you for the welcome.I am sure I will find this forum very useful, I have herad so much about it. BTW, my tutor also endorses Linux.
