For the last couple weeks I have been having problems connecting to the internet at my house. I have an HP pavilion and run windows Vista. My ISP is Comcast Cable and i use a Linksys wireless router. I am able to connect alot of times when I am sitting right next to the router but as soon as i go upstairs the Internet wont connect even though i have strong signal strength with the router. Sometimes the error i get is "cannot communicate with primary dns server". This has only began to happen recently. (It worked for quite a while). My roomate also has an older HP running XP and works fine. I brought it into Best Buy to ask them what they thought and the guy said he thinks i might have a virus or spy/adware. I downloads AVG Virus and Malwarebytes Anit-malware. AVG did not find any infected files however Malwarebytes found 6 files includes some trojan.fakealert and trojan.bho. A friend told me about this site and said it saved his computer. PLEASE give me a hang as i am pulling my hair out trying to fix this problem.
