Application not found in Internet exploer

Hello, first off i apologize if i am writing in the wrong section in advance :D

Recently i have ran into an issue with my internet explorer. Everytime i try to Type in a website through the toolbar, go to a favorites page, or DL ANYTHING from the internet it will say "application not found" and i have no idea what to do. It wont let me go online to DL spyware removers, i cant find anything on the internet about it, im so looossttt!!

Someone please help lol. thank you for taking your time to read this.

Hello what version of IE is it?
have you recently istalled or uninstalled another browser?

I believe i am using IE7, and no i have no other broswers installed, i tried to go to firefox once this problem occured but i wasnt able to DL it through the internet lol.
