Would you trust Download.com?
Now remember:
SOME downloads are reported to have adware and trojans.

Also, I downloaded MalwareBytes from there once, but when I was going to reinstall it, the resource of it changed and everything, which left me suspicious.

Do you think it's safe?

You are always safest downloading from the vendors site.

Just wanted to add that it's very common these days for a lot of these software companies to not host their own downloads. I don't recall if Malware Bytes does but Super Anti Spyware uses Filehippo. When you click on the download link on SAS, it takes you straight to Filehippo. So when you're talking about sites like Download.com etc. as it relates to trusted products like Malware Bytes, you're pretty safe. But it doesn't hurt to ask.

Why would you want to download MBAM from another site than its original one?
Please post back if we found the solution

FWIW, It seems that the latest MBAM, version 1.34, is exclusive to CNET Download.com.

I download from C-NET all the time. I save it to a folder on my desktop and scan it for anything before I install it. I personally have never found any little suprises in my downloads.

Hello All!!
It seems that major geeks has the updated version (1.34) as well. You may download it Here.
Those users who already have MBAM on their system will automatically update to 1.34 when they check for "updates".

My question for Nia is why the need for all of these different MBAM download sites? Are you having issues with MBAM downloads?
