I am new to video editing and am trying to learn. This is a frustrating process because my computer will restart while editing, usually right when I push play or if I skip ahead to another chapter. The PC will restart with both Windows Movie Maker and Corel Videostudio 12. Any ideas? BTW, I already tried punching my PC. LOL

What is the make and model of your computer and how much memory is installed?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

My computer was built from scratch so there is not a make and model. Everything is probably about 2-3 years old though. I know for sure I have 2 gigs of RAM.

I think that it is a problem with the software you are using. (Something wrong with the software)
Try re installing Corel Videostudio 12.
