For the last 4 months my computer has been a bit funky...

I use google desktop and the readings that im getting suggest that my CPU is constantly over 50% and my memory usage usually close to 80%.

Quite often simple programs like WMP or VLC will play up/stop responiding for no apparent reason... my virus checker cant seem to find a problem, im feeling a little bit lost... i would appreciate any help.

As no logs are posted, I am moving this from the HiJack This forum to the Am I Infected forum.

In order to assist you, we need some additional information.

What is your operating system: Windows XP, Vista, etc.?

What security programs do you have installed? Please name them.
