alright, personally i wouldnt even consider the visontech 3870 or the 8600. the 8600 is way to old and low performance and Ive read a lot of really bad reviews on visiontek brand. and if your going to invest in a video card, Id go with the best one you could afford, so I would also not consider the 9600. So, of that list, I would say either the Saphire 3870 or the geforce 9800. the 9800 is basically just a upgraded 8800, and if you real a lot of the reviews the 3870 did beat out the 9800 but not by much. also geforce is a good brand but EVGA is better if we go by the reviews ive seen. Personally, Im an ATI fanboy, and I am currently running a saphire 3870 x2 and I love it, maxes out cod4 at 1920x1080 with extremely high framerates, much higher then a friend of mines slid 8600s (which in theory are supposed to run like one 8800) so I can speak for saphires reliability, and the performance factor. so my recomendation is the saphire 3870.

That would be my personal choice, like I said I run a saphire 3870 x2, which is basically 2 of those saphire 3870s overclocked and crossfired onto one card, and I love it :D though directx10.1 is probably a sham since windows 7 is rumored to come out with directx 11 lol.
