I'm having a similar problem. Sites listed by Google look legitimate and their urls are correct (because I'm directed to the right place when I copy and paste the url), but once I click on a result I am redirected to any of a number of different ad sites about half the time.

Spybot S&D didn't help me either, and I also can't get Ad-Aware to install. I also had about a billion nasty viruses on my computer (about to go make a topic on them now), but taking care of those didn't do anything for my Google problem.

Split from another topic. Also has posted here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/200919/vundo-trojans-and-seneka-rootkits/ Given the final response to that thread, I am simply closing this thread to avoid further confusion. ~ OB
