Hi,

I have the following graphics card: XFX GeForce 8400GS 256MB PCI-E Low Profile Card. It has VGA, S-Video and DVI connectors.

I would like to connect it to my TV which has scart, S-Video and red and white audio jacks. I tried connecting them together using an S-Video cable, but nothing happened. Does anyone know how I can connect them and see my computer on my TV?

Thanks,
Joe

You will need to instruct Windows (I'm assuming you're using Windows) to extend your desktop to the TV. This Microsoft Article explains how to do this.

Thanks for the reply, but I wasn't able to follow the instructions because there was no "Display" drop down box under "Settings". It just says "Plug and Play Monitor on NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS. When I right click the desktop, I can also click on "nView Properties" and get nView Desktop Manager. There's a tab called "Windows" which appears to be what I'm looking for, but I still can't get a display on my TV. When I click "Identify Displays", I get a big number 1 appear on my monitor screen, but nothing happens on my TV. I'm not sure what else to try.
