Hi all,

About 1 week ago I found that I had several trojans/spyware programs installed. I ran a number of anti-virus programs to remove these programs:

nod32
bitdefender
malbytes malware
spybot search & destroy
lavasoft ad-aware

I also dual boot, and I did most of the "cleanup" from the other OS. Even after running these programs I still see an orange/red background when I initially boot. I tried running combo-fix on a whim but it didn't show anything interesting (that I can tell), but what is interesting is that after running combo-fix my background is now orange/red again.

Any suggestions on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.

Try this scan:

You should run it from both OS's.
