video is playing slower than audio

when ever i restart my computer movie plays fine for about 5 min. then the audio starts to play slower than audio

Is there any way to tell if i have a software conflict?

Try another movie file and see what happens. You can always open it with another player. It can happen when you are running or downloading another program at the same time. Make sure nothing else is running in the background. Try these steps first. Regards Grassy

already tried a couple of files still doing the same, i think somthing is loading at startup causing the system to use too much resources or somthing

Try downloading vlc player and try playing the file with that player.
