Hi all, new round here, hope Im in the right forum. Im on XP and need to open an attatcment containing some banjo music tablature. It keeps saying---windows does not recognise this file?? I clicked on a link which said I can get something to fix it ,but didnt . Its a TEF file extension if that means anything?
Pleeeeeeese, can anyone help before I go crazy. Regards JM

I guess it's for tabulature files, go HERE to find some explanation and a download you can open it with. I didn't read all of it, but I'm sure the download is free.. :thumbsup:

Looks like it would be a file for the TablEdit tablature editor.

They offer a free file viewer here:

http://www.tabledit.com/tefview/index.shtml

so you could try to read the file with that.
