Hi from (not so) sunny So Cal!

I'm rather new to IT as a profession, but I've been around computers since my dad bought me a Commodore 64 with a cassette drive.

I am the minor half of a 2 person IT shop, with the Director being the major half. Between us, we support about 100 users in various locations in the US and UK.

I'm looking forward to learning much from everyone about supporting the uninformed, uninitiated and technologically challenged.

Thanks in advance for all your support and helpful advice. May the Force be with you!

That's okay. I've already called the Centers for Disease Control and geolocated you through your IP address. Just sit back and relax, you'll be 'taken care' of shortly by large men in biohazard suits. Cooties is nothing to be ashamed about; you can't help being a girl.

Well, everyone has their flaws and I dare say this is one of a multitude of mine

It's tough being a Geek-ette in a Geek's world.

Those tape drives were very very slow, but you hardly ever had a problem with bad files. Do you remember when Commodore offered a floppy drive---everyone was in sheer heaven!
Welcome to BC!
