Hi,

I have Comodo Firewall and Avira Anti-Virus running.

I only have Comodo firewall and don't use there antivirus just due to my preferences.

If you wanted to use a separate Anti-Virus program you would need to turn off the Anti-Virus in Comodo to stop any conflicts but you would be able to use the firewall ok alongside a separate Anti-Virus.

I use Comodo internet security. Ok, but i run on-demand scan regularly with third-party stuff, like MBAM.

If you choose the Comodo firewall with another antivirus, you need to download Comodo Internet Security here:
http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/dow...d_firewall.html

You would be asked during install which components you want installed, so you can uncheck the antivirus then. It would be better not to install 2 antivirus products, even if one were disabled.

A new version of CIS which includes heuristics for the av and is running well in beta is due for final release next week.
