hello.
im new to the site, but have used you previously to solve many computer issues.
atm i am having a problem with my laptop. its a compaq presario f500 running vista, and i have d/l sp1.
whenever i search on google, the results come up fine like normal. but whenever i click a link it always opens a new window. it never used to, and im wondering if it is a virus as i d/l a torrent that said it required a licence, however when i d/l it, it kinda didnt work.
google is the only site that does it, and i have checked the preferences and open in new window is NOT checked.

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
thanks, and keep up the great help.

Yes, you are indeed infected. I would post your problem with a brief description here:

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
