I have been hit pretty hard by a "seneka" root kit, and i thought i had nuked it when i formatted my "C" drive but it came back after i got finished installing half life 2, (appently it goes out to every stoge space attached to a system) my queston is if i burn my photos, mp3's, personal file, etc... to dvd to back them up will the rootkit be burned onto the disk with them?

If not i am just going to burn all my media to DVD and nuke my raid array the old fashion way (low level) and proceed from there hopefully rootkit free
