I deleted what I thought was an unused User Account in XP Home. It wasn't and now the files are gone. System restore "doesn't" and I am in a sweat. Any other choices to get my files back?

How did you delete it? Do you remember what steps you took to delete the account. It may be hard and it may be immpossible to get them back and it may be easy! But need to know how you deleted the stuff!

I did one system restore and some files were restored, but my email files and addresses were not. So, I undid the restore and went back to the day before that to restore - and no dice; restores are no longer possible. Are my files that were on the desktop of the "user" in the black hole for good or can I retrieve them. Search finds zilch, as usual.
