Sounds good? right.... Wrong!
When the update finishes it asks to reboot and after i reboot my computer gets completely disconnected from the internet, my iphone and xbox still get a signal but my computer gets nothing at all..
I called my ISP and did a series of tests and followed instructions but nothing worked so they declared that it was a problem with the computer and advised me to contact my computer's manufacturer(something to do with internet protocols)
So i went ahead and contacted Gateway and i was told i couldn't get any help from them unless i paid $2.00/minute for a technician over the phone so i went ahead and assumed that AVG was the problem..
Everytime i tryed to uninstall AVG it would go smoothly but at the very end i would get an error.
1 error occured
Warning: Internal error. Dialog with id "WinFwDeactivationDlg" was not found in the setup
Anyways.. After lots hard work i finally was able to uninstall AVG but now i am left without an antivirus programme, does it sound like it was a problem with AVG.. or does it look like i may be infected? :S
Help would be very appreciated, also if anyone knows any decent freeware similar to AVG that would be a big help.. Thanks
