This beta is now closed and they are not accepting new participants.

If you want to download and participate in the Windows 7 beta, you are running out of time. According to the Windows 7 homepage, the beta application process are in its final days. To participate simply go to the following page:

Windows 7 Beta Download page

Scroll down to the bottom and select the particular version of Windows 7 that you want to download. You will then need to fill out and submit an application in order to download the beta and get a CD key.

Apparently, it's over. The text on the link says:

Sorry, Windows 7 Beta downloads are no longer available. You can still register for a product key or look up the key you've already gotten. To look up your product key, just pick your version and language below, and click Go. From there, sign in with your Windows Live ID, and your product key will appear on the next page.

Do beta testers get a free Windows 7 license key?

Supposively, yes. Is there going to be another Beta when RC comes out?
Who said I couldn't have everything?

Hate to say it, but I seriously doubt many beta testers will get free keys.

Well isn't getting your first key considered Free?

They aren't going to make you pay to get a Key.. Especially on a beta....

Guess I was confused as to the question. You get a free beta key, but you will not get a free retail key.

There should be a correction to this post, since the beta is now closed.
Don't mind me, I'm just lurking.
