kernel_data_inpage_error (Acer Aspire 3680)

My Acer Aspire 3680 laptop will not work, at all. I am not able to boot in safe mode or get to DOS, even! =/

This is the error message I get, with a blue screen:

This computer is completely useless at this point! Any help would be sooooo appreciated!

There's several different reasons for this error.
The first thing to try is to run Startup Repair: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/repair-windows-with-windows-startup-repair/

Once that's done, also run the Windows Memory Diagnostic from the same screens. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/using-vista-windows-memory-diagnostics-tool/

Finally, download a bootable hard drive diagnostic from the manufacturer of your hard drive. Links to the most common manufacturer's are in this topic: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/28744/hard-drive-installation-and-diagnostic-tools/
