OK I am buying a Wand TV USB tuner from ebay....but I have read that it is for an antennae...WHICH I DO NOT HAVE, but was wondering if you can connect a cable that goes to a regular cable box to this tuner?

This is what I bought on ebay:

Item number: 360125199553

Will these work with a cable box?

I have a couple of Hauppauge and ATI tuner cards.

The simple answer is...if there is no connection on the device for wired cable connection...no connection to same can be made.

And...if you are using a cable box, it's even more complicated because the cable must run through the box...and the box must be connected to the tuner card.

The card you've acquired is not made for wired connectivity, http://www.tesora.com.au/USB_TV_Wand__10430.htm
