this is my very first post on bleepingcomputer and i have a question.
I was in my registry the other day and I noticed that under HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE>Software>Microsoft>Windows, there were 2 files. A file called CurrentVersion and one directly below it called CurrentVtrsion. Is this misspelled one malware of some kind? I ran a scan, but nothing came up. CAn somebody help me, because im kind of panicking.

The "files" are actually called "keys"
The CurrentVtrsion one is likely bad, but you have to have malware files on your system for the registry to use them.
Don't just delete this one - if it's needed by a legitimate process you could end up with problems.

Check beneath that key in the registry structure and see if you can find reference to any files. If so, post back and let us know what you find.
Also, you can do a couple of these free online scanners to double check your scan: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/blogs/usas...?showentry=1252
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
