I am looking fora free software that someone uses that allows my computer the ability to have caller ID pop up telling me who is calling me before I have to answer the phone. If someone knows of such software please let me know. I prefer s/w where I don't want to use a dial-up modem.

Thx

Do you have broadband cable? As this is free with my ISP.

Verizon only offers a DSL/FIOS program they call 'VoiceWing' at this time in some areas.

Call your local Verizon Service?

I cannot find anything about Vonage offering such service.

It does require a DSL service at the minimum.

I also think it may be that Vonage is a third party. You need to use the main dog like Comcast or Cablevision. I think anyway.
