I have purchased A Netgear wireless G modem router DB834G to replace my USB modem, the problem is that upon setup I get to the point within the wizard when on powering up the router I do not get the Internet light on, therefore It is reported that the router cannot be detected. I follow the trouble shooter and check all connections, they are good but still no joy. what am I doing wrong. My O/S is win2k my ISP support this device.

You might have to register the modem/go through the setup software specific to the ISP. At least call tech support and have them walk you through it.
