disk space

on the computer trying to unpack some files.. Icon comes up saying that i need to free up some disk space.. i am using about 15 gig of a 80 gig hard drive, so i have lots of space..now my cd drive not recognizing a cd .. using XP pro and p4 ibm..some help would be nice...katesdad..

Can you tell us exactly what the error message is?

Does your CD drive recognize other CDs?
