I am no master mind with the computer. Not sure where to post my problem. Forgive me if it is in the wrong place.

The problem began with the D: drive. Now both the D: and E: drives have disappeared from MY COMPUTER page. My computer stays frozen up so much that I can hardly use it. When the D: drive is working here is the message I receive when rebooting.

"Following configuration options were automatically updated: disk 1: 14324[mb], disk 4: cd-rom"

I don't have a clue as to what this means. If anyone can help me, it would be an absolute blessing.

If D: and E: are both CD/DVD drives you can try to delete the upper and lower filter keys
