hello all,
I had a really quick xp question. There is a way that you can make the puter convert back to old setting on a particular date (i.e. go back to settings from april 1st) I've done this before, but completely forgotten how to do so. I'd appreciate a quick note if anyone knows how this can be done.

thanx abunch,
dtizzle85

It is system restore, and will restore to a date that has a restore point.Click start, accessories, system tools, system restore and click "restore my computer to an earlier date". Pick the date you want.
Spike's advice: Backup your data routinely.
