I have this stupid black screen sitting on my computer over the top of my wall-paper that I can't get rid of. The property code is "file:///C:/WINDOWS/desktop.html". For the life of me I can't get this thing off my computer. I am a beginning computer user and I really just need some help getting this thing off of my desktop. I imagine there is somebody familiar with this problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

The link below will give you complete instructions about posting a HijackThis! log to the forum, where our team of volunteers will work with you to get rid of this and any other malware you might have on your hard drive.
