I recently got a new computer, which has Windows Vista Ultimate installed (wasn't my choice, honestly, it's like they're being paid by Microsoft to sell these things, but that's another article...) and one thing's been really bothering me (aside from the constant incompatibilities and constant annoyances, that is)
Whenever I leave my computer on, usually to download a large file overnight so I don't have to sit around waiting, the d***** thing goes into standby mode! I understand this is probably an energy-saving thing for all this "going green" bullbleep, but they don't even tell you how or where to turn it off, or how to adjust the time before it turns itself off. So my question is: how do I turn this bleeping thing off? Also, I'm sorry if I seem a bit p***** off and rude, but honestly, ever since I got this computer it's been one thing after another. I'm just about ready to smash the bloody thing.
