When I try to have HijackThis deal the ‘020’ entry, I get Error # 5 saying it cannot remove the entry and to contact HijackThis's owner.

When I try to deal with the 021 SSODL’s – Hijack this tries unsuccessfully to remove them – I guess because the 020 Appinit DLL’s are still running.

Things I have tried:

1) Manually delete them --> cannot since they are write protected.

2) Start-up in Safe-Mode to unlock and delete, thee virus blue screens thelap-top when I start in safe-mode and then starts normally – I guess so the virus can continue to run

3) Downloaded DLL unblocker – when the unblocker tried to unlock these files I get blue screen (talented virus).

4) I found the offending DLL’s in the registry – rI have manually deleted them, alterred the binary and various things, I exit out and go back in and the DLL’s are there again, running.

Note – the virus has also removed my ability to use Task Mgr – so I cannot stop any processes using this technique it has also stopped me writing to my DVD/CD drive, has stopped me accessing the system restore function and has already infected a USB memory stick (prior to me shutting down almost all services). I have the latest Mcafee suite also - which is as much use as no use in finding this virus.
There is a long story of my fight with this virus - been at it for ~6days now...........hoepfully i'm pretty close to getting rid!

Hope you can help!!!

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from HERE or HERE

Note: If you already have Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, just run and update it.. Then do a "Perform Full Scan"

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Extra Note:
