Hi everyone, every time I use google or yahoo to search for something, all the results redirect me to another search engine. This probably just started happening a couple days ago and I hope it's not too late to fix it.

But before this started happening my SuperAntiSpyWare program kept crashing at start up so I uninstalled that. Then I tried running MBAM, but after double clicking it, nothing happens. So I uninstalled MBAM and re-downloaded it. I tried running the install but nothing happened.

One last thing, every time I tried to go to this website it would say 'Failed to connect'. But clearly it's not the website.

I hope this isn't too many errors at once, I just thought they all might be related to one kind of problem.

This is starting to get really annoying so any help would be great.

Thanks.

Try renaming the Malwarebytes setup file, mbam-setup.exe, to something else such as abcde.bat and then try installing it.

Ok, so I changed the file name and I got to install it. But I still can't run it, I double click it and nothing happens.

Now rename this file:

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe

Then double click the renamed file and see if Malwarebytes will run.

Wow I didn't know it was that easy, thanks. I ran a quick scan and it got rid of all the other problems, thanks a lot.

Please post the log from the Malwarebytes scan.
