Python program-I need to install it,but from where?

Hey guys,where is the best website to install python software program??

I tried to install it but I found a problem!!! there was a message says "this installation package could not be opened.Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package"
do you guys know what I need to do?
why so serious!!!

What extension did the package name have on it? Python can also be installed on Linux, and so uses a different type of file. Python.org is where you should go.
