Just a quick hi to make you all like me as I'm going to need your help.

Did scans as usual on sunday for avg and malware by and had nice clean fast runnung computer.

went on facebook today and 'liked the look' of an animated program toolbar. Having second thoughts AFTER installing the bleeder, decided to get rid of it.

Computer a bit slow on IE, running malwarebytes right now and its already found 170 objects infected. :flowers:

So now I've told you my tale of woe, would you like a cup of tea?

Hello there Ruth,

Welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Please try a couple of these free online scanners to see if anything has slipped by your protection:
(Be advised that some of these scanners will pickup things in "quarantine" from other anti-virus programs - so review the results carefully)

If you find that you're infected (or the scan doesn't complete or closes unexpectedly), post in the Am I Infected forum located here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/

regards,
The weatherman
