hello all. I have just started college and am still new to all these computer files. What i know i learened from my unlcles friend. He helped me put Ad-aware se, counterspy, spybot search and destroy, and spy sweeper on my computer in adition to my norton anti virus program. Im still learning how to check my register keys and still have some questions on my running processes. any help would be greatly apreciated in the future.

And so at last the beast fell and the unbelievers rejoiced. But all was not lost, for from the ash rose a GREAT BIRD. The brid gazed down upon the unbelievers and cast a FIRE and THUNDER upon them. For the beast had been REBORN with its strength renewed, and the followers of MAMMON cowered in horror.

I hope he also installed a firewall for your computer.
You will find a lot of information in the tutorials, where many of the articles are written for the newer user. Additional information can be gleaned by doing a search on the forums, or using the startup database here at BC.
Naturally, if you have a question or need help with a problem, do not hesitate to post it so other members can help.
Summer is such a lousy time to start college, isn't it?
Welcome to BC!
Regards,
John
